Planetary Alignments Conjunctions and Lunar Occultations
Monday 6th June 2022
Start time : 19:15

Speaker : CAA

There will be a rare alignment of all the naked-eye planets (plus the Moon) just before sunrise on 24th June, with Mercury, Venus, the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn in an evenly spaced arc across the eastern sky. This month we will be looking at this and other unusual planetary conjunctions from the past and the future, plus some lunar occultations.

Cambridge AstroPlus welcomes any of our members over the age of 11 to attend.

These Cambridge AstroPlus talks are presented by members of the CAA.

This presentation will be at the Institute of Astronomy - Doors open 7pm
