The Night Sky Live

From the comfort of your own home!

Presented by Paul Fellows

with assistance from Brian Lister, Jonathan Clough
blister   jclough
and other members of the CAA

The event will be run live by Zoom - see below for how to join.

Paul will open the meeting, presenting from his home observatory with a short talk about the plan for the evening.

This will be followed, by remote observing of the Stars, Planets, Moons and other objects viewed through Paul's 14-inch telescope with camera linked to screen.

Further views of the sky will be provided using a wide field camera and we will be joined by other members of the CAA who have worked to bring their observatories on line as well, so that we can go over to them for different views.

And of course Paul, Brian and Jonathan will be offering their expert commentary on the object that we are able to track down and show live for you.

In the event of cloud, we will present a short planetarium style show of what we would have chased down for you if it had been clear!

and it is all absolutely free with no need to book.

Just join us on Youtube Live by following the link on the Institute of Astronomy web page web page a few minutes before the event and
