There have been many extinctions of life on Earth, most caused by climate changes.
We will be looking at astronomical causes which could have affected our planet.
We all know about the impact which is thought to have killed off all the dinosaurs, but there have been three other extinctions bigger than this event in the last 500 million years.
Two of these major extinctions have astronomical theories, as well as several smaller extinctions.
As part of the presentation Brian will be playing all CYA members at once.
