Monsters in the Dark
Friday 18th September 2020
Start time : 20:00

Speaker : Dr. Matt Bothwell

The most extreme galaxies in the Universe are hard to find - they are completely missing from older observations, and not even discovered until the late 1990s.

Matt will discuss the scientific detective story which led to the unveiling of a whole new population of unusual galaxies — the monsters in the dark.
