Moon Watch

From the comfort of your own home!

Your presenters will be Paul Fellows and Brian Lister

The event will be run live by Zoom - see below for how to join.

Paul will open the meeting, presenting from the comfort of his home observatory with a short talk about the plan for the evening.

This will be followed, by remote observing of the Moon
viewed through Paul's 14-inch telescope with camera linked to the internet and natated by Brian with his encylopedia knowledge of the Moon.


Timetable and Programme of Events

  • 20:00 : Welcome and presentation of the plan for the evening

  • 20:05 : Moon Watch - narated by Brian Lister

  • 20:55 : Short break for refreshments

  • 21:00 : A short talk about the Moon as you have not seen it before

  • 21:30 : Other targets of opportunity for remote watching

  • 22:00 : Rejoin us on Zoom for a chat and to wrap up the evening

and it is all absolutely free with no need to book!

About our speaker:

Brian is vice-chairman of the Cambridge Astronomical Society and has been the ever present motive force behind the society since its beginnings, organising the young astronomers programmes especially.
