Monday 6th July 2020
Start time : 19:15

Four great observers whose lives are spread throughout the 300 years of visual astronomy, taking us from primitive Galilean telescopes to the silvered glass reflecting telescopes of the modern era of astronomy where photography and later electronic imaging would rule. We'll be looking at the changes in the quality of the images they saw, as well as the lives of these astronomers.
Our talks are aimed at the beginner level and can be enjoyed by all ages and levels of experience.
Your presenters for this will be Paul Barter, Paul Fellows, Darryl Mansfield and Brian Lister
