Visit to the Whipple Museum

To coincide with the 75th anniversary of the founding donation of the Whipple museum we are have a talk and guided tour of the Whipple museum by Dr Joshua Nall. As well as the special exhibition they will be bringing some objects and instruments out of their large reserve collection for us to look at.
No need to book. Please arrive at the back door of the museum just before 7.00pm, access is through the new museums site entrance, Downing Street. Walk through the arch past the Zoology museum and turn left and then left again. There will also be somebody there to direct you.
Josh joined the Whipple museum in 2013 after gaining his PhD at the History and Philosophy of Science here in Cambridge. His research focuses on mass media and material culture of the physical sciences after 1800. He has curated a variety of exhibitions and displays, including on globes, science and industry in Cambridge, and most recently, the most curious and controversial objects lurking in the Whipple Museum's stores
