On 20th July 1969 about 600 million people watched Neil Armstrong step onto the moon, where he and Buzz Aldrin would spend two and a half hours setting up experiments and collecting lunar samples. Surprisingly, there is only one good photo of Armstrong on the moon, and he has got his back to the camera! In this meeting we will be looking at how men got to the moon and the subsequent manned lunar landings.
